What this is
Freedom Summit started because growing a wash shouldn't cost you your life. Every January we pull a group of operators out of the day to day, put real strategy in front of them, and give them the room and the relationships to act on it.
In 2027 we're bringing it to Tampa.
The venue
480 acres of natural Florida landscape outside Tampa. Championship golf on a course redesigned by Rees Jones. Freshly renovated rooms, multiple restaurants, a spa, and enough space that the week doesn't feel like a conference.
The golf tournament runs on the Rees Jones course the day everyone arrives. The rest of the week lives on the resort — meals, sessions, and the late evenings you'll remember most.

How the days work
The schedule is built on purpose. There's focused time to work on your business, and there's just as much time carved out for the meals, the golf, and the side conversations where the relationships actually get built.

Running a wash can be isolating work. Nobody in your town runs your business, and the operators who do are usually a few states away. For three days in January they're all in one place, and a lot of them stay in your corner long after you fly home.
That's the part we're building on purpose in 2027. More time together, more room to actually get to know the people sitting next to you.

Yes, and we'd encourage it. You can register up to 3 people from your wash in one checkout, and operators who come with their GM or their business partner tend to leave with a plan the whole team already owns.
The three days: sessions, collaboration, your growth blueprint, summit materials, and meals during the event including the welcome dinner. Travel and lodging are booked separately.
Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida — about 30 miles north of Tampa. 480 acres, championship golf, freshly renovated rooms, and enough space that the week doesn't feel like a conference.
We have a room block at Saddlebrook at a discounted rate. You book directly through the room block link — details go out as soon as you register. The block has a deadline and closes when it fills, so don't wait on it.
The Annual OptSpot Freedom Golf Tournament is optional and runs the day everyone arrives. It's $149 per player, and rental clubs are $80 a set if you'd rather not fly with yours. You choose both during registration.
Full refund through November 15, 2026. After that and through December 15, 2026, you get the full amount as credit toward the 2028 Summit. After December 15, 2026 we've already guaranteed headcount to the venue, so there's no refund or credit, but you can always transfer your seat instead.
